INCREASING DEMAND FOR CLEAN AND RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES OPENED THE NEW AREAS OF INVESTIGATION ALL AROUND THE WORLD. AMONG THE VARIOUS AVAILABLE METHODS, ABSORBING ENERGY FROM THE SEA WINDS IS ONE OF THE LESS EXPENSIVE AND MOST ACCESSIBLE ONE. ESPECIALLY IN THE COUNTRIES WITH EXTENSIVE COASTAL ZONE, SUCH AS IRAN, THIS KIND OF ENERGY IS COMPLETELY-COST EFFECTIVE. THEREFORE, ASSESSING THE DIFFERENT COMPONENTS OF WIND TURBINES IS OF A GREAT IMPORTANCE. IN THE PRESENT STUDY, EFFECT OF SIMULTANEOUS WAVE AND CURRENT LOADS AS WELL AS SHIP IMPACT ON A MONOPILE WAS EVALUATED USING FINITE ELEMENT SOFTWARE SAP2000. THIS MONOPILE CAN BE REGARDED AS THE BASE FOR A WIND TURBINE. THEREFORE, IN THIS RESEARCH, A MONOPILE WITH A LENGTH OF 68 M, DIAMETER OF 6 M AND A THICKNESS OF 0.15 M WAS CONSIDERED.
